TCU Safety Sam Carter Answers Our Questions About The Horned Frogs Defense

TCU redshirt sophomore safety Sam Carter is part of a young Horned Frogs secondary that will be out to stop some high-powered offenses in the Big 12 Conference. Carter was a  duel threat quarterback in high school and was highly recruited. He appeared in  11 games last season with the Frogs. Our Kevin Lonnquist sat down with Sam Carter at reporting day to talk about the TCU defense as they prepare for life in the Big 12 Conference.

Tommy where do you put TCU this year in Ranking 15-20:?

  3. Tommy Smith says:

The Frogs may struggle in the secondary in the pass happy Big 12 early. They should fall in line behind OU and right with WVU. Preseason polls are just that, preseason. The Frogs may find themselves sniffing the top 10 at some point this year but 15-20 in the nation should be where they finish. We are talking about TCU though. Gary Patterson is one of the best coaches in the country. Having TCU in the Big 12 conference is great for Texas football. One thing is certain and that is that anyone who thinks TCU will be outclassed in the Big 12 is sorely mistaken.
