TCU Athletic Director Chris Del Conte Talks About The Frogs Officially In The Big 12

TCU held a rising celebration at Billy Bob’s in Ft. Worth last night to celebrate the school’s official membership into the Big 12 Conference Saturday night. TCU fans, students and alumni gathered outside to countdown to midnight and begin a new day and era in TCU history. The Event was attended by new Big 12 Commissioner Bob Bowlsby who spoke to the crowd about the excitement there is for the conference and for TCU. TCU honored Bowlsby the way any new Texan should be honored, with a pair of Justin boots.

TCU Athletic Director Chris Del Conte also addressed the TCU faithful announcing his excitement about the fact the football team has sold every ticket for the 2012 season. Del Conte encouraged those fans without tickets to “Party like rock stars” in the parking lot of Amen Carter Stadium this fall. After the celebration Del Conte spent a few minutes talking about what this means for TCU and the Big 12 going forward.
