While Sunday night’s loss ended the season for the Dallas Cowboys it did finalize their 2013 slate of opponents.
The Cowboys finished in third place in the NFC East. That means their game against the NFC West will come against the St. Louis Rams, which also finished third in that division.
The Cowboys’ game against the NFC South will come against the New Orleans Saints in the Big Easy, as the Saints finished third in that division.
Along with their six divisional games, the Cowboys will face the NFC North and the AFC West in 2013.
The Cowboys’ home schedule features two of the league’s top quarterbacks in Denver’s Peyton Manning and Green Bay’s Aaron Rodgers. Along with Denver, Green Bay, St. Louis and the Cowboys’ three divisional games, they will also host Minnesota and Oakland.
Along with road games at their three NFC East foes and New Orleans, the Cowboys will also travel to San Diego, Kansas City, Chicago and Detroit.
The Cowboys will face just four 2012 playoff teams – Denver, Green Bay, Washington and Minnesota. Six of the Cowboys’ 13 opponents will be coming off winning seasons.
The NFL schedule, with dates and times, will be released in April.
