    There is no greater need on this team, and not just because there is plenty of age at the top of the depth chart. With Jerry Jones basically retaining the 2013 defensive staff, it means the Cowboys will employ the Cover 2 defense again in 2014. From what we saw last year, when the Cowboys did a good job rushing the passer the defense was effective. When they didn’t rush the passer well, the defense fell apart.

    By all accounts, Hageman had a great week at the Senior Bowl, consistently overmatching interior offensive linemen and at times proving unblockable in one-on-one drills. His workouts appeared to solidify his status as a first-round pick. Some recent mock drafts have the Cowboys taking Hageman in the first round.
