SMU (11-10, 1-5 C-USA) plays its last of three straight road games, visiting Marshall (9-11, 2-3 C-USA) on Wednesday at 6 p.m. The Mustangs are 3-5 on the road this season and looking for their first road win in C-USA play (0-3). SMU enters the game first in C-USA and 9th in the NCAA in free throw percentage (.762). All five starters shoot better than 69 percent at the line.
FEB. 27 IS FINAL GAME IN MOODY COLISEUM’S CURRENT CONFIGURATION: After 57 seasons, nine conference championships and more than 500 wins, SMU men’s basketball will play its final home game in Moody Coliseum’s current configuration on Wednesday, Feb. 27, when the Mustangs host Rice at 7 p.m. On the 27th, SMU will also celebrate Senior Night prior to the game at the Coliseum, which is undergoing a $47 million expansion and renovation. The updated Moody Coliseum (newmoody.com) will feature new premium seating, as well as courtside retractable seating.
