60 Minutes has been a staple in American households for years and with the recent success with sport journalism TV shows like ESPN’s 30 for 30, it is no surprise that the folks at Showtime jumped at the chance to partner with the journalists at 60 Minutes to bring 60 Minutes Sports into the Showtime family of shows. The program will only be on once a month but with the brains behind the 60 Minutes take on journalism with regards to sports you can count me in as one of the many that will be adding this to my DVR list immediately. The first episode will focus on the scandal and turmoil in professional cycling that is Lance Armstrong along with the greatness in international soccer that is known as Lionel Messi Check out the trailer below:
